Telefonica Wholesale's Backbone Wavelength service provides standard bandwidth links at the optical level of 10Gbps, among its PoPs distributed throughout its network, and based on Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), as specified in the ITU's recommendations. These PoPs are located at points with a high degree of capillarity and access in the main capital cities where Telefonica Wholesale is present. The technology that Telefonica Wholesale uses in the Backbone Wavelength solutions guarantees optical transparency from PoP to PoP over the network.
