Quality
Through the MPLS service, you can offer your customers different classes of service, depending on the requirements in terms of network delay, bandwidth and jitter for applications by classification, depending on priority, of the different types of traffic for a single shared access.
Voice:
Ideal for applications with real-time functions, which require low transmission lag, low packet loss and low jitter.
Video:
Suitable for Video-conference applications. Has the same characteristics as the "Voice" class, but with quality in between the voice throughput and the highest priority of the data classes.
Data:
There are 4 different Data service quality classes in order to handle the customer's different data applications according to the customer's needs.
- Data-Platinum: For mission critical service applications and non-real-time video
- Data-Gold: For critical applications
- Data-Silver: For non-priority traffic applications.
- Data-Bronze: For internet traffic
Optional functions of the service
- Different redundancy options:
- Access redundancy.
- Customer Premises Equipment redundancy.
- MultiVPN, with the possibility of accessing multiple VPNs.
- Internet access through a Single Point:
- The service allows the concentration of the VPN's internet traffic in certain offices, as required by the company.

Combined with the Global IP VPN service, the service capitalises on voice and data networks in a single infrastructure for the client.
- International Breakout:
In addition to corporate voice, this is offered as an international call termination function of the VPN to the PSTN at a lower price.

Un servicio que permite la conversión de voz a datos, de manera que se pueda utilizar la infraestructura existente de una Red Corporativa de Datos, implementada sobre el servicio MPLS como base de comunicaciones, emulando una red de voz tradicional. La red de datos debe estar optimizada para que asegure la calidad requerida y que la calidad de voz en el otro extremo sea la misma que la percibida en una red de voz tradicional.
Los elementos específicos del servicio Global VoIP VPN que deben existir y que usted deberá contratar extra sobre su servicio MPLS existente, son:
- Gateway VoIP: bien ampliando el EDC ya existente en el servicio MPLS, o bien definiendo uno específico para voz.
- Gatekeeper: elemento opcional, recomendado a partir de cuatro sedes de voz para programar todo el plan de numeración facilitando la gestión del servicio.
Hay que destacar que el servicio Global VoIP VPN debe integrarse en su red corporativa de voz, por lo que debe respetar o adaptarse a los planes de numeración corporativos de sus redes de voz.
Aplicaciones
Facilita al Operador la prestación del servicio de voz sobre la infraestructura de una Red Privada Virtual (Servicio MPLS de Telefonica Wholesale), compartiendo los mismos recursos sin necesidad de desplegar nuevas infraestructuras.
El SLA define unos niveles de calidad mínimos garantizados, y en caso de incumplimiento de los niveles comprometidos, ofrece los mismos bonos de servicio que en MPLS.
Los valores garantizados para cada una de las oficinas son:
- Disponibilidad de Sede, en función del país y redundancia seleccionada.
- Tiempo de Provisión, en función del país.
- Tiempo Máximo de Reparación, en función del país y redundancia seleccionada.
- Retardo de Tránsito, sobre una ruta elegida por oficina origen.
- Tasa Máxima de Pérdida de Paquetes, sobre una ruta elegida por oficina origen.

One of the options of the Carrier MPLS service that complements the VPN solution is the International Breakout function, which has two possible combinations:
- Carrier MPLS+Global VoIP VPN+Breakout. This option would make it possible to manage the service from Telefonica Wholesale.
