Satellite Services

The Broadcasting service is aimed at customers that need to broadcast information to a large number of offices or users (radio stations, news agencies, etc.)

The service provides one-way satellite links for the distribution of audio or data from a central point to an unlimited number of receivers (fixed or mobile) located anywhere within the satellite coverage area.

Service modes

There are two service modes that can be used together by a single client:

• Data Mode data transport service, with no conversion or protocol processing at any point in the equipment used; the connection interface to the service is Fast Ethernet.
• Audio Mode: transport service for audio. The audio signal or signals are received from the customer's central office, digitalised if necessary, and transmitted via satellite to all of the associated local radio broadcasters.
