SIGNALING

This service is mainly aimed at the transport of roaming messages from mobile carriers and facilitates international transport of signalling messages (MSUs) over Telefonica Wholesale's International Network, guaranteeing fast and secure delivery.

It is also possible to include functions, extra security or connectivity, or differentiated treatment of signalling messages, such as SMS.

ISDN: DATA/VIDEO-TELEPHONY

The International Transit and Termination offer is complemented by Telefonica Wholesale's extensive Integrated Services Digital Network, which provides you with more than 80 direct ISDN routes with full ISUP SS7 signalling functions.

This service routes your traffic and voice and data overloads reliably and with optimum quality levels, which will allow you and your customers to quickly and economically extend your ISDN service.

Among other possibilities, this service will allow you to complete international video-telephone calls, originating or going to countries in which Telefonica Wholesale operates, as well as other countries.

Service deployment is fast, with very competitive rates for each destination.

FREEPHONE

The International Freephone Number service allows you to offer your corporate customers toll-free numbers in the country from which the call originates.

With this service, you can cover, among others, the needs generated by applications such as call centres and pre-pay cards and charge cards.

One option that recently became available, depending on the country, is Double Routing, which makes it possible to distinguish between calls made from the fixed-line network and mobile network, adjusting to the specific needs of each customer.

Two service modes are offered, depending on the assignment chose for the numbering:

• Toll Free International (ITFS)
  A toll-free access number depending on the country from which the call originates.
• 800 Worldwide or UIFN (Universal International Freephone Number)
  This service establishes a single number for all of the countries of origin, assigned by the ITU with the format 800 XXXX XXXX.

DIRECT COUNTRY

With this service, your customers will be able to directly access dedicated platforms or carriers that will respond in the country of the destination country of the call. It can be used to request automatic collect calls or to charge calls to a prepaid or personal card.

This means that your customers will continue to receive the highest levels of service even when travelling abroad.

OPERATOR ASSISTED INTERNATIONAL

This Manual International Termination Service includes the involvement of operating personnel and the application of specific agreements at the origin and destination. The Collect Call option is also available.

INTERNATIONAL VoIP

Telefonica Wholesale provides you with access to its VoIP network, which extends throughout America and Europe, with nodes in the countries in which it operates.

With this option, you will be able to terminate encoded voice conversations in the main VoIP formats on switched networks of any country in the world, reducing network costs and significantly reducing call setup lapses.
